As a Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with families and team members to support each child's unique journey. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education. Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and social-emotional growth. Implement age-appropriate activities that support early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays. Manage daily classroom routines, including lesson planning, transitions, and assessments aligned with early childhood education standards. Foster effective communication with families through regular updates on progress and developmental milestones while addressing individual needs. Maintain accurate records of student progress, standardized testing results, and behavioral observations to inform instructional strategies. Skills Extensive experience in preschool or daycare settings with a strong background in classroom management and lesson planning. Knowledge of childhood development theories, special education practices, and early intervention techniques. Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions.
