In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire curiosity, foster independence, and support each child's unique learning journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of toddlers while working within a collaborative and supportive community. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Foster a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills Support children's developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development and early intervention strategies Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and welfare in a clear and compassionate manner Incorporate special education techniques when working with children who have additional needs or require individualized support Maintain accurate records of children's activities, assessments, and progress in accordance with childcare standards Requirements Prior experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred Strong understanding of childhood development theories and early intervention strategies Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management best practices Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, children, and families Familiarity with standardized testing methods used in early childhood education settings Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous Commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and creating an inclusive learning environment CDA Preferred Join us to nurture young minds at a pivotal stage of their growth!
