Job Description

St. Joseph Catholic School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and faith-filled educator to lead our 3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool classroom. This teacher will play a vital role in creating a joyful, structured, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters early academic skills, social-emotional growth, and a love for learning rooted in Catholic values. Help shape the academic and spiritual foundation of young children Key Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for 3- and 4-year-old students Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning experiences Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and development Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and values into daily routines Collaborate with administration and colleagues to support school-wide goals Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) preferred Strong understanding of child development and early learning best practices Ability to create engaging, structured, and developmentally appropriate lessons Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education This position is ideal for an educator who delights in the curiosity of young children and is passionate about laying the academic, social, and spiritual foundation that will support them for years to come.
