Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Engage children in interactive lessons that support childhood development milestones, including language acquisition, motor skills, and emotional regulation. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, transitions, and daily activities aligned with educational standards. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development stages and behavior management techniques. Experience with curriculum development tailored to toddlers and preschoolers, incorporating literacy education and math fundamentals. Familiarity with special education practices or early intervention programs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Previous private school or daycare experience is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics using effective classroom management strategies.
