Responsibilities Assist with supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Support classroom teachers by preparing materials, organizing supplies, and helping with lesson implementation Close out daily office tasks by completing paperwork, updating records, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and organized Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety protocols Provide support during transitions between activities or classrooms to promote smooth routines Engage with children through play, learning activities, and age-appropriate interactions to foster development Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent communication and uphold program standards Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Ability to perform first aid and CPR; certification preferred but not required Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong caregiving skills for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and team members Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment This role is perfect for passionate caregivers eager to grow their expertise in early childhood education while making a positive difference every day.
