Floater Teacher

Responsibilities:

Work alongside a supportive lead teacher to create fun, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences for children. Help guide children as they learn, grow, and reach new milestones every day. Provide loving care and supervision for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in a warm, family-like early childhood environment. Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom where children feel comfortable and excited to learn. Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and positive behavior guidance. Help plan hands-on activities, art projects, outdoor play, and learning centers that make each day exciting. Build strong relationships with children through encouragement, patience, and positive interactions. Work as part of a team that values communication, support, and a fun work atmosphere.

Experience:

Previous experience working with infants through age 6 preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who loves working with children. Knowledge of early childhood development is helpful but not required. Experience in childcare, preschool, or daycare settings is a plus. Ability to stay organized, flexible, and keep up with an active classroom. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Must be able to pass a state required background check and meet all licensing requirements.

Hours:
