Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler (1-3 years of age) Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a commitment to educating and caring for young children and supporting their growth through engaging activities and effective classroom management. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Educate children in various subjects, including language, math, science, and art, using hands-on activities and play-based learning techniques. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students. Provide care for infants when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Observe and assess each child's development, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress and address any concerns. Support children with disabilities or special education needs by implementing tailored strategies to enhance their learning experience. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity. Physical Demands Often required to stand and sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat or crawl. May require lifting of up to 40 lbs. Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.
