Child Care Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
• Assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and toileting
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
• Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary using positive behavior management techniques
• Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a supportive and inclusive environment
• Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving, nannying, or working in a classroom setting preferred
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
