Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support children's growth and development through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a joyful atmosphere where children feel valued, secure, and inspired to explore their world. Duties Provide attentive care for children, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education, social skills, and emotional development. Ensure the safety of all children by following proper supervision protocols, conducting safety checks, and maintaining a clean environment. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or behavioral concerns. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, routines, and any incidents or observations. Support classroom management strategies to encourage positive behavior and developmentally appropriate discipline. Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other daily routines to meet each child's individual needs. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting roles, or as a nanny is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in developmental activities. Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in childcare best practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs is desirable. Classroom experience or caregiving roles that involved teaching or supervising young children will strengthen your application.
