As Community Christian School continues to expand, we are exploring the addition of a preschool program while also planning for future elementary growth. The successful candidate may be placed in either a preschool or kindergarten classroom based on enrollment, program needs, and experience. This individual will play a key role in creating a Christ-centered learning environment that nurtures students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Tuition discount for children enrolled at CCS Paid Time Off Qualifications Teaching degree preferred but not required Experience working with children in a learning environment preferred Experience with Abeka curriculum preferred A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ A professing Christian who demonstrates faith through both word and action Understanding that each child is a unique individual and a gift from God Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate expectations Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment Ability to meet state and federal requirements, including background checks and health requirements Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire Responsibilities Instruction & Curriculum Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction that promotes academic growth and a love of learning Integrate biblical principles throughout instruction and daily interactions Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learning styles Foster creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking Classroom & Student Development Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and Christ-centered classroom environment Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families Provide individualized support to help students reach their full potential Implement classroom management practices that reflect biblical values Spiritual & Character Development Model Christ-like character and servant leadership Pray with and for students Encourage spiritual growth through daily interactions and instruction Partner with parents to support the academic, emotional, and spiritual development of each child Collaboration & Professional Growth Work closely with fellow teachers, administration, and families Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Community Christian School Mission Statement To educate and build a foundation of biblical truth and unity so students may stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel. To train in truth and righteousness and fully develop each child in body, mind, and spirit. To equip students to be lifelong learners and servants of Jesus Christ. To provide a biblical education that fosters the growth of the next generation of Christ-followers. To build up the next generation academically and spiritually in biblical truths.
