In this role, you will serve as the primary caregiver and educational leader for infants in our care, creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes growth and development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our youngest learners while working in a dynamic, supportive setting. Responsibilities Lead daily activities designed to support infant development, including sensory play, language acquisition, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. Ensure the safety and well-being of infants by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to all health and safety protocols. Develop individualized care plans that meet each infant's unique needs, including feeding schedules, diapering routines, and rest times. Foster positive relationships with infants by providing consistent comfort, encouragement, and responsive caregiving. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and incorporate family preferences into care routines. Maintain accurate records of each infant's developmental milestones, health information, and daily activities. Support team members by participating in classroom management, behavior guidance strategies, and ongoing training related to childhood development and special education needs. Skills Proven experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings with classroom management expertise. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and caregiving best practices. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is highly valued. Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation. Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with families, team members, and specialists. Experience caring for children with diverse needs including toddlers or those requiring specialized caregiving approaches such as nannying or babysitting roles. Demonstrated ability to create engaging activities that stimulate learning while ensuring safety at all times.
