As a preschool teacher YOU can make a difference in the lives of young children! Job Description We are seeking a loving, passionate teacher for our center! In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the early educational experiences of young children. Your contributions will help create a nurturing environment that promotes growth and development.
Prairie Village Location:
89th/Roe Pre-K Teacher (Mon-Fri, 9:00-6:00) Toddler Teacher (Mon-Fri, 9:00-6:00)
Salary:
$16.00
  • $17.
50 per hour (negotiable based on experience and position) Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following: Provide a high level of care and safety for young children, allowing children to feel loved and safe at school Ensure children are given the opportunity to learn and grow each day Promote a positive atmosphere for parents, children and other staff at all times Communicate effectively with peers and parents to ensure a consistent and engaging classroom setting Participate in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the classroom and center as a whole Present a professional demeanor Follow a daily schedule and classroom routine with the children Assist in implementing daily engaging and educational lesson plans following the Experience Curriculum guide (training provided)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an early childhood classroom preferred, not required (daycare/preschool/childcare center) Ability to keep a classroom clean, organized and age appropriate Ability to utilize parent/staff communication app
  • BrightWheel (training provided) Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Self-motivated with a desire to learn
Compensation:
