Preschool Teacher for 2.5-3 year old Full Time

The Goddard School of Shawnee is looking for a caring, motivated, fun-loving teacher to join our team! If you are passionate about early childhood education and have experience working with children ages 2.5-3 years of age, we'd love to visit with you. This position can be an assistant or lead teacher position. It is dependent on your previous experience, education, and knowledge. We are well staffed and are looking for a qualified teacher to join our team.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year experience working with children in a childcare/preschool setting.

Curriculum:

Creates and implements age-appropriate, engaging lessons. We have a rich curriculum that our teachers build off of. Has a proven track record of working with children. Someone who is nurturing, joyful, and plays with children well. Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate teaching and classroom management practices. We are teachers, not babysitters. Communicates in a professional manner with team members and parents. Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position. Must be able to lift children and get up and down from the ground easily. Has a strong work attendance history. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
