In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive space where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for working with children and dedication to their development will help foster a positive foundation for their future learning experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while developing your skills in childcare, classroom management, and early childhood education. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence among children Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, behavior, and daily routines Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development and any concerns Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care Manage classroom routines efficiently while promoting positive behavior management strategies Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and empathy Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and families Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and families effectively Join our team if you're eager to contribute to the growth of young minds in a lively, supportive environment!
