Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Lead Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young children will inspire growth, curiosity, and joy. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a safe and engaging environment for infants, and support their developmental milestones. Your expertise in early childhood education and caregiving will help create a warm, stimulating space where little ones can thrive. Duties Lead daily classroom activities tailored specifically for infants, including playtime, sensory exploration, and early learning exercises Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining proper sanitation and adhering to health and safety standards Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Support team members in managing classroom routines, behavior management, and individualized care plans Assist with feeding, diapering, nap schedules, and other caregiving responsibilities with compassion and professionalism Monitor each infant's development to identify needs for additional support or early intervention when necessary Requirements Proven experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or similar childcare setting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques specific to infant care and behavior management Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities as a Lead Teacher Excellent communication skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues clearly and empathetically Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diversity and individual needs Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives through dedicated caregiving and innovative teaching. Pay:
$13.50 - $15.00 per hour
