Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young learners. As a Child Care Teacher Assistant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of children through engaging activities and positive interactions. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas including social skills, language, and motor skills. Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique needs and learning styles. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times. Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive environment for children with special needs. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children. The hours for this position will be 2pm-6pm Monday
  • Friday.
Experience A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working in a classroom setting or childcare environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Skills in childhood development, caregiving, and behavior management are essential. Previous experience as a babysitter or nannying can be beneficial for this role.
