Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team in August, 2026. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore, develop essential skills, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. You will oversee classroom activities, implement developmentally appropriate curricula, and mentor assistant teachers to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while fostering a positive and dynamic classroom atmosphere. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, early literacy, and social-emotional growth tailored to toddlers' needs Lead a joyful, play-based classroom that supports all domains of development Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain a cohesive team focused on child welfare and safety Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's development, milestones, and any behavioral or educational concerns Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and childcare standards within the classroom environment Experience Must hold a minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with 1-3 year olds. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management with this age group Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and childcare best practices Prior leadership experience as a lead teacher or similar role is preferred; ability to mentor and guide team members effectively Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively Strong candidates should have a love for this age group, understand the developmental needs of this period of growth, and be strong team players. Pay:
