In this role, you will create a warm, engaging environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and development for children in our care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, classroom management strategies, and hands-on activities tailored to toddlers and preschoolers. Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort while supporting individual needs through personalized attention. Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive behavior management and inclusive participation among children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate activities such as physical education, arts and crafts, and literacy sessions that enhance overall childhood development. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor each child's growth trajectory. Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom management and lesson planning. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development tools such as Montessori methods or literacy education strategies. Experience supporting children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and positive social interactions. Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
