Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/ Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children 0- 2 years old. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and creativity. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements. Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being. Engage in behavior management strategies to support children's social skills and emotional regulation. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Qualifications Child Development Associate Credential required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with students with disabilities is a plus. First aid certification is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. Demonstrated ability in classroom management and creating engaging learning experiences.
