Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this pivotal role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and implement developmentally appropriate curricula tailored specifically for toddlers. Your passion for early childhood education, combined with your expertise in classroom management and child welfare, will inspire young learners to explore, grow, and thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of children's development while collaborating with a team committed to excellence in early intervention and literacy education. Hours are M-F 8:30-5:30. Duties Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for toddlers Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Oversee classroom routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play while maintaining high standards of childcare and toddler care Conduct assessments of childhood development milestones and utilize standardized testing where appropriate to monitor progress Coordinate with other educators on curriculum development initiatives focused on literacy education, math skills, and Montessori methods Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a strong emphasis on toddler care Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education principles, including childhood development and classroom management Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention strategies for diverse learner needs Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing educational activities aligned with preschool standards Familiarity with teaching physical education and incorporating movement into daily routines Prior classroom experience in private schools or daycare environments is highly desirable Join us as a Lead Toddler Teacher to make a meaningful impact during these formative years!
