In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop essential cognitive, motor, and literacy skills while fostering a love for learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the formative years of children's lives. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that support early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior to ensure a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, developmental milestones, and any special education needs. Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance personalized learning experiences. Prepare lesson plans that align with curriculum goals while adapting to the diverse needs of students, including toddlers and children requiring special education support. Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom management skills are preferred but not required. High school diploma/GED Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and behavior management techniques. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with families. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs is a plus. Ability to work physically active shifts involving toddler care, classroom activities, and outdoor play.
