Daycare Preschool Teacher

Engage children in hands-on activities that support their developmental milestones, including toddler care and preschool experiences. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs, and support early intervention strategies when necessary. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization at all times. Utilize classroom management techniques to foster respectful behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when applicable. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is required; classroom experience is highly valued. At least 1 year of classroom time. Strong knowledge of childhood development, behavior management, and early intervention techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members using excellent verbal skills. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in special education or Montessori methods is a plus. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is advantageous. Passion for nurturing young learners through engaging teaching methods such as tutoring or physical education activities.
