Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment tailored specifically for infants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster early development, support individual needs, and promote a love of learning from the very beginning. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate infants' physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring overall well-being. Observe and document each infant's developmental milestones to tailor activities and support progress. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, needs, and daily experiences. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and share best practices in infant care. Follow all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols. Requirements Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle multiple infants simultaneously while maintaining patience and compassion. Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and children effectively. Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes trust, security, and curiosity.
