Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant team as a Childcare Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families! In this dynamic role, you will provide nurturing, engaging, and safe environments for children across various age groups, from infants to preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, support learning through play, and ensure each child's well-being is prioritized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a caring community while developing your skills in childhood education and caregiving. Duties Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood settings Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Provide attentive infant care and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining positive behavior management strategies Collaborate with parents and guardians to share progress updates and address individual needs Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Support children with special educational needs or disabilities through tailored activities and accommodations Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving roles Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in early childhood education is a plus Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels children's growth!
