The ideal candidate will have experience working with children ages 6 weeks to PreK and possess the skills necessary to create a nurturing and educational environment. Candidates will be required to work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children in your care. Supervise daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist with diapering, feeding, and other personal care tasks as needed for infants and toddlers. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Requirements Experience in preschool or daycare settings is preferred; experience in special education is a plus. Knowledge of infant care and toddler care practices. First aid certification is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families. Previous experience working with students through caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
