Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our preschool in a two-year-old classroom . Our lead teachers play an important role in creating a classroom where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn each day. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children, maintain a positive classroom environment, and partner with families to support each child's growth and development. Responsibilities Plan and lead age-appropriate classroom activities for two-year-old children Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Supervise children and maintain a safe classroom at all times Communicate positively and professionally with parents and coworkers Follow classroom schedules and preschool policies Participate in daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, nap, playground supervision, and transitions Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a genuine love for young children and a desire to help them learn and grow Experience working with children is preferred but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable, patient, and nurturing personality Ability to maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment Must meet all state licensing and diocese background screening requirements We offer a supportive and family-oriented work environment.
