Employees must be committed Christians in agreement with our Statement of Faith who are willing to serve as Christian role models for our students. All staff members play a vital role at Bethany Cub Club and have eternal significance in the lives of the students. Responsibilities Provide supervision and attentive care to each individual student. Conduct a well-organized, play, learning, and creative environment in the classroom. Follow daily schedules and routines created by the administration. Create and/or manage weekly lesson plans consisting of Circle Time, Bible, and daily lessons. (Curriculum Provided By Cub Club) Implement regular cleaning and organization of the classroom and materials used. Follow Louisiana State Licensing Regulations Skills needed Communication between parents, children, and fellow staff members. Time Management Teachable and able to receive correction Teaching and Nurturing Ability to engage in fun and learning activities with students. Behavior and classroom management Able to follow instructions Physical stamina: lifting up to 25-50 lbs, standing for long periods, frequent bending, and engagement in play. Requirements Strong and mature Christian who lives out her Christian faith daily. Regular church attendance Child Criminal Background Check Eligibility Pediatric First Aid and CPR Training Mandated Reporter Training Health and Safety Training 12 hrs Continuing Education Training Commitment to the contracted school year Day to Day Monday-Friday work environment. Hours of operation, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Daily schedules that consist of: diaper changing/potty training, circle time, curriculum and bible lessons, snacks, recess, lunch, and nap times. Daily upkeep in the center includes cleaning. Assisting fellow employees with breaks, activities, and routines. Benefits Tuition discount for Cub Club and BCS students.
