Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Floater to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education. Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management strategies. Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and informal assessments. Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or private school setting. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and literacy education strategies. Experience in teaching physical education or tutoring is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff members. Prior experience in special education or working with children requiring additional support is highly desirable.
