Childcare Worker Full and Part-Time

Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent caregiving practices and classroom management. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents. Assist in documenting developmental milestones and maintaining accurate records of daily activities. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR, but will have to obtain if not already certified. Pay:

$9.50 - $11.00 per hour
