In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children across various age groups, from 6 weeks to preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, literacy, and social skills through innovative activities and personalized care. Whether working in a toddler setting or providing specialized support for children with diverse needs, you'll play a key role in shaping positive learning experiences that inspire curiosity and growth. This paid position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your skills in education and child development. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood education, literacy, math, and physical activity. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to track progress and tailor instruction to individual needs. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, special education strategies, and classroom management techniques. Support children with disabilities or special needs through targeted instructional strategies and behavior management approaches. Foster a nurturing environment by practicing effective communication skills, conflict management, and behavior guidance. Conduct classroom activities that enhance social-emotional development, literacy skills, and physical education. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent instructional quality, maintain classroom organization, and uphold safety standards. Provide guidance on early childhood development principles during parent-teacher interactions or academic advising sessions. Manage classroom routines efficiently while promoting independence and positive behavior among children. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, instructional design, library services, and working with children of diverse backgrounds. Pass a background check Prior experience working with infants, preschool or toddler care environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated classroom experience with early childhood education programs or private schools is advantageous. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored for young learners. Familiarity with learning technology tools such as LMS platforms used in educational settings. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Background in behavior management techniques and conflict resolution within classroom environments.
