The educational philosophy of The George Cottage is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which emphasizes allowing children to follow their natural curiosity and creativity to stimulate a love for learning. We strive to provide an open-ended and child-centered curriculum that emphasizes learning through play, listening, moving, touching, and observing. Summary The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for helping to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program for young children and communicating with families about their child's progress.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Conduct oneself in a professional manner Maintain a safe environment and adhere to state licensing guidelines Adhere to the expectations and routines of daily routines at StM Attend and actively participate in school-wide and divisional meetings Engage in a variety of professional development opportunities, both required and self-initiatedPreferred Qualifications:
