Job Description

If so, Rainbow Academy & Preschool is the place for you. Rainbow is seeking a passionate, dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. We are looking for someone who believes in nurturing the whole child and creating a joyful, developmentally rich classroom environment. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in early childhood education, values positive relationships with families, and is committed to supporting each child's unique growth. Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Instruction Develop and implement age‑appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards. Create engaging lesson plans that support cognitive, social‑emotional, and physical development. Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Classroom Environment & Behavior Support Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a respectful, productive learning environment. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that supports active learning. Family & Child Support Build strong partnerships with parents and guardians to support each child's development. Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Required Skills & Qualifications Must hold a CDA, degree in Early Childhood or comparable early childhood credential. If the candidate does not currently have a CDA, they must obtain it within one year of employment. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience developing curriculum for preschool‑aged children. Proficiency in creating lesson plans that engage young learners. Familiarity with behavior management techniques for diverse classroom dynamics. Ability to educate children effectively while fostering a love for learning. Must have a CDA, a degree in Early Childhood or Ca Prior experience in childcare or early education settings is highly desirable.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
