Appilicants Must Have:
  • Must be bi-lingual
  • Must be a high school graduate if under 18 years of age
  • Must have an ancillary certificate for child care, or either 3 semester hour credits in Early Childhood or Child Development or an equivalent credential that addresses comparable competencies; or the individual must obtain the credential within two years of employment or five years experience working in a Child Care facility.
  • Must have a minimum of one year experience working with children in a state licensed Facility.
  • Must complete a thorough background check and show no evidence of a criminal history
  • Must provide three reference letters from three different individuals (including their contact information.)
  • Must have good written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Must have CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Must be registered with LA Pathways.
  • Must have the ability to participate in all activities which consist of sitting on the floor, climbing stairs, lifting children etc.
