In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with families, providing attentive care and creating a safe, engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive learning experiences, promote healthy development, and support families in their caregiving journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist with daily childcare routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to ensure children's comfort and safety Support early childhood development activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth Implement age-appropriate educational activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and learning Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones for communication with families and supervisors Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and conflict resolution among children Collaborate with families to understand each child's unique needs and provide consistent caregiving practices Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures to respond effectively to emergencies or injuries Assist with special education needs or working with children with disabilities to ensure inclusive support Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, behavior management, and caregiving best practices Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly valued Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies EEC Certification and License and training in first aid and CPR is mandatory; Experience working with infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing space that promotes positive behavior management and developmental growth This role offers an enriching environment where your dedication directly impacts children's lives.
