In this role you will provide essential support across preschool classrooms and extended care programs ensuring a nurturing, engaging and safe environment for young learners. Enthusiasm and flexibility will help create a positive atmosphere where children can thrive socially, emotionally and educationally. This position works with a mixed-age group of children ages 2.9 to 5 years old.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Helping with child transitions, developing and implementing curriculum, ensuring child safety, engaging children in developmentally appropriate learning experiences, collaborating with staff to meet children's needs and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and behavior.
Located in the center of Beverly's historic downtown, the school is accessible by the commuter rail. HNS has been a continuous school for more than 60 years. Come see what makes our school so special.
