Preschool Assistant

We are seeking a patient, energetic, and nurturing Preschool Teacher's Aide to join our team. Under the guidance of the Lead Teacher, the aide will assist in the daily management of the classroom, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for young children (ages 2.6-6) to learn and grow. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys supporting children with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Support:

Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans, preparing classroom materials, and organizing learning centers.

Student Supervision:

Maintain constant supervision of children at all times to ensure safety, including indoors, outdoors on the playground, and during transitions.

Classroom Management:

Assist in maintaining a clean, sanitized, and organized classroom environment.

Care Routines:

Help children with daily routines, including toileting/diapering, handwashing, serving meals/snacks, and supervising nap time.

Child Development Support:

Interact with children in a positive, respectful manner to foster social-emotional growth, self-esteem, and conflict resolution.

Communication:

Work collaboratively with the teaching team and assist with communicating student progress to parents, if requested.

Observation:

Assist in observing and documenting children's interests and progress to help guide future teaching strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Certifications:

Must be able to pass a background check/fingerprint clearance. First Aid/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, team player mentality, and high energy.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift up to (25-30) pounds and engage in physical activity with children (bending, squatting, running).

Working Conditions:

consistent hours/Flexible Hours/Mother's hours we are open 7:30AM-2:30PM hours May fall any time within those hours.
