In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children ages six weeks to five years. As an EEC Certified Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a love for learning while ensuring each child's safety, happiness, and growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through engaging lesson planning, classroom management, and individualized support. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally-appropriate curriculum. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction. Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies. Collaborate with families and promote open communication. Qualifications Valid EEC Certification demonstrating compliance with state early childhood education requirements. Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices. Experience in curriculum development and implementation across various domains including literacy, math and physical education. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
