Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to educating and engaging children through play-based learning, while also implementing effective behavior management strategies.
Start date:
Flexible between May - July .
Hours:
8-4pm or 8:30-4:30pm. Year Round Position. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Engage children in various activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual requirements. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Experience Previous experience in childcare or preschool settings is preferred. Strong background in behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices. A nurturing demeanor with a passion for educating young minds. EEC Certified Infant/Toddler is a must have.
