Job Description

Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher Job Overview Little Hands College is looking for full-time passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of young children. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in preschool-aged children. All teacher must have their CPR and First Aid up to date as well as their immunization records (including their MMR). Infant/Toddler/Preschool Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning. Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and development at home. Provide individualized support to children as needed, including those requiring early intervention services. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Infant/Toddler/Preschool Experience A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with tutoring methods, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies is beneficial. Knowledge of child development principles, including toddler care and preschool curriculum design. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
