Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Plan and conduct activities to promote physical, social, and intellectual development
• Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations

Requirements:

• EEC Teacher Certification
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities

Skills:

• Physical education: Ability to incorporate physical activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development.
• Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and organized learning environment that promotes positive behavior.

• Communication:

  Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.

• Childcare:

  Understanding of the unique needs of young children and ability to provide appropriate care.
• Childhood development: Knowledge of the stages of child development and ability to tailor instruction accordingly.
• Curriculum development: Skill in designing age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
• Lesson planning: Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various learning modalities.
• Early intervention: Familiarity with strategies for identifying and addressing developmental delays or challenges.
