Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and conduct activities to promote physical, social, and intellectual development
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Requirements:
- EEC Teacher Certification
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
Skills:
- Physical education: Ability to incorporate physical activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development.
- Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and organized learning environment that promotes positive behavior.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.Childcare:
Understanding of the unique needs of young children and ability to provide appropriate care.- Childhood development: Knowledge of the stages of child development and ability to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Curriculum development: Skill in designing age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Lesson planning: Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various learning modalities.
- Early intervention: Familiarity with strategies for identifying and addressing developmental delays or challenges.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00- $23.
