The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques. Engage children in various activities that promote learning through play, including arts and crafts, music, and storytelling. Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their child's development. Implement behavior management strategies to support children's emotional well-being and social skills. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive learning atmosphere for all students, including those with special needs. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Proven experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting. Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Experience or training in special education is a plus. Ability to engage children through various activities such as sports coaching, theater, or tutoring. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude combined with patience and creativity in teaching methods.
