Candidates should be caring, friendly and possess an ability to meet infants' social, physical, and emotional needs. Should be flexible, collaborative and comfortable communicating with families and colleagues in a professional manner. We seek to hire educators who will appreciate the uniqueness of each child, respond sensitively to individual rhythms and cues, and create a calm, secure environment that supports infants' natural curiosity and development. We seek teachers who have an understanding of emergent curriculum as it applies to infants, have experience documenting infants' growth and milestones, planning sensory-rich and developmentally appropriate activities, have knowledge of infant developmentally appropriate practice, and who are committed to growing and learning alongside the children, colleagues and parents.
