In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your expertise in early childhood development, combined with your enthusiasm for fostering young learners' growth, will inspire curiosity and confidence in our youngest students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence early learning experiences and support the holistic development of toddlers through innovative curriculum development and compassionate care. Duties Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Develop age-appropriate activities that promote social-emotional skills, cognitive development, and physical growth in toddlers Collaborate with families to support individual learning needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments and standardized testing results Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that adheres to child welfare and childcare regulations Incorporate curriculum development techniques that enhance childhood development and literacy education while encouraging creativity and exploration Experience Valid EEC (Early Education and Care) certification with a focus on toddler care Proven classroom experience working with children aged 1-3 years in daycare or preschool settings Strong background in early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies tailored for toddlers Familiarity with working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with young children, families, and team members Prior experience in private school or child care center environments is advantageous Join us to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives!
