$21.00-$29.00/hour Generous benefits package, including: 401(3b) Health, dental, and life insurance Flexible spending and health savings accounts Paid time off & parental leave Employee discounts & assistance programs Wellness programs & professional development assistance Your Role Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment Develop and implement a curriculum tailored to children's developmental needs Supervise children during structured and play-based activities Prepare and lead educational activities across various subjects Observe and document each child's progress for parent-teacher communication Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety (includes lifting up to 50 lbs) Collaborate with peers and communicate effectively with families Attend and maintain required professional development, including CPR/First Aid What You Bring EEC Preschool Certification (Required) CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred (or actively enrolled in an ECE degree program) Team spirit and a growth mindset Familiarity with — or openness to learning — child-led curriculum approaches Additional Info Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting We value teamwork, creativity, and a shared commitment to children's well-being Make a meaningful difference every day — join the Worcester JCC Early Childhood team!
