Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, physical activity, and social skills. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Plan and execute engaging lessons that support childhood development milestones, including preschool and toddler care activities. Monitor and assess individual student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to communicate student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental goals. Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities to meet diverse learning requirements. Qualifications Prior classroom management experience in early childhood education or daycare settings. Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education for young children. Experience working with children across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and child welfare practices. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools. Must have a 90-hour Child Care Teacher certification.
