This role involves creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and individualized care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and experience working with young children, including infants and toddlers. This position offers an opportunity to positively impact children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants and toddlers' needs Provide attentive caregiving, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of each child Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and daily activities Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and daily experiences Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health & safety standards Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive educational experience Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and emotional regulation Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is essential Experience with infant care and toddler care is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Background in classroom management and behavior management strategies Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is necessary Familiarity with special education practices or caregiving for children with disabilities is advantageous Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infants or toddlers will be considered valuable candidates
