Do you have a passion for working with toddlers and helping them reach important developmental milestones? We are seeking a caring, patient, and energetic 2-Year-Old Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can learn, explore, and grow through hands-on play and meaningful experiences. Key Responsibilities Create a fun, safe, and nurturing classroom for two-year-old children. Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Encourage curiosity, independence, and learning through play and exploration. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment. Support daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and transitions. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators. Complete lesson plans, required documentation, and classroom responsibilities. High School Diploma or GED required (college coursework or degree preferred) CDA, Credential, or Preschool Qualification Evaluation (PQE) preferred or required based on position Required Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) training, including: 45 Hours Child Growth & Development 45 Hours Methods & Materials 9 Hours Communication Basic Health & Safety Developmental Screening American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Training Emergency Preparedness Medication Administration Pediatric First Aid & CPR Must meet all Maryland Office of Child Care (OCC) teacher qualification requirements. Preferred Skills Passion for early childhood education and helping children succeed. Patient, nurturing, creative, and flexible with a positive attitude. Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and colleagues. Effective problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making abilities. Ability to create engaging, high-quality learning experiences in a safe and inclusive classroom. Commitment to professionalism, continuous learning, and excellence in early childhood education.
