Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire and shape the next generation. In this dynamic role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes learning, social development, and emotional well-being. Your expertise in childhood development and early education will be essential in fostering curiosity and confidence among our preschoolers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic child development. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a productive learning atmosphere. Support children's emotional and social growth through positive reinforcement, conflict resolution strategies, and individualized attention. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss developmental progress, address concerns, and share strategies for at-home learning reinforcement. Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods and literacy education best practices. Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and working with students requiring additional support. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with classroom experience involving toddler care, childcare regulations, and private school environments is preferred. Certifications in early childhood education or related fields are highly desirable; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
