The responsibilities include:
preparing the materials for the daily lessons, supervising the children in daily activities as directed by the lead teacher, assisting in documenting notes and other reports needed for children, and helping to maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment.Other duties include:
serving snacks and lunches and attending to children's bathroom/ diapering needs. This applicant will be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, and have completed/or will complete the Basic Health and Safety, Aide certification course, and the breastfeeding class (if working with infants). They must also have a completed medical form . One year or more of childcare experience is preferable. Applicant will be available from 8:15 am- 3:30 pm Monday
- Friday or MWF for part time working hours.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The staff is required to be capable of the following demands: 1. Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds 2. Moving and carrying equipment and children. 3. Sitting and playing with children on the floor 4. Cleaning and maintaining all areas and aspects of the classroom and surrounding areas used by the children. 5. Supervising children on the playground or in the gym, as they are on their feet the entire time.- Additional hours are available if the applicant would like to be a substitute for our extended care sessions.
