Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. In this dynamic role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that supports the developmental needs of preschool children. Your expertise in childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management will help shape the foundational skills that set children up for lifelong success. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional growth. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and child welfare practices. Support early intervention strategies and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education services. Engage children in activities that develop language skills, fine and gross motor skills, and early childhood education fundamentals. Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones and provide guidance on childcare best practices. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that complies with daycare and preschool standards while promoting childhood development. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; Montessori or private school experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in special education or early intervention is highly valued. Familiarity with teaching physical education activities and tutoring techniques to support individual learning needs. Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering an inclusive environment that supports all learners' growth. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
